Hold onto your chairs, because this downtown Nashville wedding was literally the most fun I’ve ever had at a wedding, yet it was also beautifully sophisticated, elegant, and timeless. I feel like the first time I met Sandra (at Fido in Nashville), we hit it off really well and were equally excited about getting to know each other and working together. We quickly scheduled their engagement session – and you can see it here. Their wedding is one that I’ve been anticipating with butterflies in my belly since I received their beautiful invitation (by Minted) – I love when my couples send me an invitation – it makes me feel so special!!
Sandra and Neal are brilliant young minds, they are both science geeks… and also happen to be PhDs. Neal proposed in Atlanta during a trip he planned for Sandra to take her to the aquarium. After she said yes, they had a romantic dinner atop the city at the Sundial Restaurant. Once they started planning, they knew right away that they both wanted a traditional and sophisticated wedding that would be elegant but also a ton of fun for their friends and family.
Let me just say that they absolutely nailed it. I’ve never been to a wedding that was more fun and classy at the same time. The navy bridesmaid dresses, black tuxedos, blush bouquets, and champagne, together with Sandra’s timeless beauty, Neal’s swagger, and the elegant Hutton Hotel make for one of Nashville’s finest 2016 weddings. Take a look! – and leave some love – I’d love to know you were here!
