When I moved to Nashville and told people that I was a wedding photographer, almost everyone asked me if I had ever heard of “The Pink Bride”. I had no idea. Soon enough, I started doing my research, and I found The Pink Bride to be a great local Tennessee wedding resource for brides. They put together 12 bridal shows each year, and publish several local wedding magazines. I had to see them in person, so I went to the Nashville Pink Bridal Show a few months ago at the Music City Center downtown. IT WAS CRAZY! So many amazing wedding vendors – venues, caterers, florists, limousine services, makeup artists, wedding planners and designers, photographers and much more… plus a fashion show of the hottest gowns and tuxedos available right now… and what seemed to be about 1,000 attendees mingling with all of the wedding professionals. This is a big deal here in Nashville, so I wanted to be a part of it. I signed on to showcase my work at the Murfreesboro (about 30 mi southeast of Nashville) Pink Bridal Show.
The show was this past Sunday, Nov. 8, 2015. It was nothing short of amazing. I lost my poor voice about half way through the 4 hour show because I was talking to SO MANY BRIDES. I can’t complain about that!! I had a blast getting to know so many newly engaged brides and giving them a small sample of what I have to offer as a Nashville wedding photographer. I loved seeing their faces light up as they looked up at my framed images (on the temporary wall that my amazing husband, Josh built for the show), and the huge smiles that came from looking at my mini-accordion books and the custom USB flash drives that I offer all of my couples. It was a very healthy day for my heart (not so much my voice).
I can’t wait to work with some of you that I met at the show… I hope we are in contact already about reserving your wedding date, because 2016 is booking up fast!!
